L-Mesitran Border

L-Mesitran Border is a sterile hydro-active, low-adherence, honey containing wound dressing with an adhesive border. It contains 30% medical grade honey, an acrylic polymer gel and water with a polyurethane film backing, without and with an adhesive border.

It is suitable for the treatment of superficial, chronic and acute wounds like abrasions, cuts, surgical wounds and burns. L-Mesitran Border is easy to apply, especially for difficult locations where regular wound dressings do not adhere. L-Mesitran Hydro is identical, but without an adhesive border.
